Come Holy Spirit by Simply Chrysolite

Come Holy Spirit is one of the hit songs on Simply Chrysolite's self titled album presented by Tim Omotoso Global Outreach from the multiple award winning girl band group from South Africa - Simply Chrysolite.

Simply Chrysolite is a quadruple award winning, Durban based, gospel girl-band (Best International Act - Black Entertainment Fashion Film Television Arts Awards 2011, Best International Album (SIMPLY CHRYSOLITE) + Best International Song (IHUB'ELISHA) - Gospel Music Awards, Ireland 2011 and Best Engineered Album - South African's Crown Gospel Music Awards 2010). They we also nominated in the South African Music Awards 2011 for Best R&B Gospel. They have performed across South Africa, Nigeria and other parts of the world.

Simply Chrysolite is made up of six young ladies from KwaZulu-Natal aged between 20 - 25 years: Pretty, Thab'zo, Mabongi, Dolce, Thabiso and Phumzile. Four of the ladies are from Umlazi, South West of Durban while the other two are from Lamontville and Pietermaritzburg.They are all mentored by Rev Tim Omotoso, the Senior Pastor of Jesus Dominion International and were nurtured by Tim Omotoso Global Outreach.

Simply Chrysolite Volume 1 is the band's debut album containing 10 tracks. The music brings the presence of God whenever it is aired/ played. All songs were composed by individual members of the band, arranged by Rev. Tim Omotoso and co-produced by multi award winning Wole Oni. The Sowetan newspaper describes their voices as "angelic". One of Africa's best music producers Wole Oni of Instinct Productions said "the texture of their voices is unique". Their music is a unique blend of Zulu, English and Yoruba.

The young ladies have also been featured on a number of television programs. On 17 July 2011 they were voted as one of Viewers Top 5 choices on SABC 1, Gospel Gold. The group have been invited to perform in Jamaica in July 2012 in the GoFest. This festival is an international Gospel Festival and will be held in Kingston. 2012 is significant as it marks 50 years of Jamaica's independence. Simply Chrysolite is the first African group and will be the only African group to perform in this festival. To date Simply Chrysolite have recorded seven music videos.

In September 2011 Simply Chrysolite were nominated for international awards in London, UK and Dublin, Republic of Ireland and won 3 out of the 4 awards. They won the Best International act at the 2011 BEFFTAs by beating Double Grammy award winner Kelly Rowland, 2011 MOBO award winner Wiz Kid, BET Music Award winners - 2 Face & D'Banj, South Africa's sensation Tear Gas, Fally Ipupa, Nigeria's Gospel sensation Tim Godfrey and others. Then weeks afterwards, they won 2 International gongs at the 2011 Gospel Music Awards, Ireland - winning the Best International Song of the year - IHUBELISHA by beating Maiojoe, Daniel Akakpo, Cynthia Ukatung, Lyrical Soldier, 4 Seasons Band, Michael Pounds & Best European Artiste of the year at the 2011 African Gospel Music Award - Diana Hamilton.

They completed their hat-trick of awards in 2011 by winning the Best International Album of the year (with their self titled album - Simply Chrysolite) beating other international acts like Multiple award winning Tim Godfrey, Judy GG, Coco Dupree and Diana Hamilton.
